President at church

I forgot to mention in my previous post that a few weeks ago I saw the president of Burundi, Pierre Nkurinziza, at my co-worker's church. She invited me because they had an American speaker and the president made a surprise visit. He gave a short address on the importance of the nuclear family, told us to pray for our neighboring African nations then proceeded to sing a song and the audience joined him.
